Lorvo is a translation application. To produce a translation, the content you choose to translate (the text you type, the photo you capture or select, and your voice while you are using a voice feature) is sent to third-party artificial intelligence services, specifically OpenAI and Google. This is the core function of the Application and it cannot work offline.
The Application asks for your explicit consent inside the app, and explains what is sent and to whom, before any of this content is sent for the first time. If you do not consent, the translation features are not used and no content is sent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Service Provider or by uninstalling the Application.
Your conversations, photos and voice recordings are not stored by the Service Provider.
The list below describes, for each feature, exactly what data leaves your device, who receives it, how it is transmitted, and how long it is kept.
Use of your content by the AI providers. The Service Provider uses the paid, commercial service tiers of OpenAI and Google. Under the terms of those tiers, content submitted through the interface is not used to train their models. The Service Provider has reviewed the privacy and data-processing terms of both providers and requires them, by contract, to provide a level of protection for your data that is equal to or greater than the protection described in this privacy policy, and to process your data only for the purpose of returning the requested translation.

Please do not submit highly sensitive information. Because the content you translate is sent to a third-party AI service, you should avoid entering passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information into the Application.

When you use the Application's camera translation feature, the photo you capture or select is sent to the Service Provider's server and forwarded to OpenAI, a third-party artificial intelligence service, for the sole purpose of reading and translating the text contained in that image.
The image is processed in memory only, for the duration of that single request. It is not saved to any database or file storage, it is not written to logs, and it is not retained after the translation has been returned. Images are not used for any other purpose, are not shared with any other party, and are not sold.
The Application does not detect, analyze, or store faces. It does not collect biometric identifiers, facial geometry, or any face data that could be used to identify a person, and it does not attempt to identify people appearing in the images.
The Application accesses only the single picture you take with the camera or choose from your device. It does not read, scan, or upload the rest of your photo library.
The Application uses the microphone only while you are actively using a voice feature: during a live voice conversation, or while you are dictating text. The microphone is not used at any other time and the Application does not listen in the background.
As described above, this audio is streamed directly from your device to the relevant AI provider (Google for live voice conversations, OpenAI for dictation) and is not routed through, recorded by, or stored by the Service Provider. No audio file is written to your device.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.

The Application is not intended for children under 4 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 4 years of age in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (dev.murattan@icloud.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
